      Entretien

Recruiter was hour late to interview and had to reschedule but was nice about it. Typical questions asked about resume, biggest challenge, salary expectations. Made it to the next round but they cancelled on me the day before and told me they are recruiting for the position anymore. I was quite disappointed and felt snubbed given that I was prepping for days.

      Entretien

Very straightforward, phone interview by a recruiter, followed by a video interview with a manager within the role you're applying for, followed by a email and roleplaying exercise with 3 members of the team and then 1 on 1 interviews with all 3. After doing all 3 of those steps, I thought I was definitely in the running to get the role, but was still rejected. The roleplaying exercise wasn't difficult, but the feedback I received was something vague like "be more authentic" which, during a role-play exercise for something you've never sold before, can be pretty difficult. Even though I had 4 years of account executive experience, it didn't really matter unless they liked who you are on the camera. I applied for a sales dev rep role, which is steps below an account exec, mainly because I wanted to grow within the company. So even though you make it far into the interview process, don't expect them to hire you based on that, they have to like the way you talk and look before accepting you based on experience alone. The worst part is, everyone I talked to was very friendly and they did a great job of making the interviewee feel welcome, so the rejection was pretty tough. Only advice is, don't get too excited if you keep moving forward, as you can see by most of the interview for Invision on Glassdoor, a lot of them don't get offers.

I applied online on the InVisionApp website. They reached out to me in that they were interested in setting up a time to have an initial phone interview. If you pass that stage, then hiring manager calls the interviewee.
