Looking to apply for a position in the supply chain of MedTech sector, I found Illumina. Wanting to ask one or two things, I decided to call them before applying. Four phonecalls on two separate days and nobody picked up the phone. I tried both reception and customer service. I left a voicemail, no call back. Decided to apply anyway despite the huge red flag. Standard "chop everything to bits" Workday experience. Strangely, I received not one but two emails asking about my experience in the application process (first company to ever do so, more should do it!) I politely stated it was pretty bad. No response to these two inquiries either. I checked Workday a couple of weeks later for the hell of it. Reviewed and not selected. This company does not even bother to send out the bland standard email. Illumina you are an absolute disgrace in how you handle applicants. I have seen a lot of bad recruiting procedures but you are going for medals.
