J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Illumina (San Diego, CA) en mars 2015

It was an average interview with different levels and tasks to test person in different aspects. I thought it was a perfect blend of all the required skills of an intern. I loved the overall program, it helped me grow well as a lifescience professional. They also allowed us to network with the VPs of various departments.
Virtual interview, I didn't get to talk to a real person, had to record all of my answers with a time limit, it was a horrible process and there was very little human communication
The first step was an audio-only hirevue that allowed two attempts. After passing that, there were two video call interviews with team members for a total of around 90 minutes give or take.

Weird video interview where they asked me "How would you explain to a 6-year-old why the sky is orange at sunset." The other question I don't remember but was equally strange for a 2-question video interview. It felt very impersonal.
