I was first contacted by a third party recruiter to schedule a phone interview. I had the phone interview scheduled on Monday afternoon with the hiring manager (basic questions about process engineering). The next day, the recruiter contacted me again to set up an onsite interview that Friday. The day consisted of a plant tour, lunch with the hiring manager and HR manager, a 1 on 1 interview with the hiring manager, and a discussion with some people on the engineering team. Overall, the interview went really well, and I received an offer. However, I reluctantly decided to turn it down because I did not feel it was a good fit.
