J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez IXL Learning (Raleigh, NC) en mars 2016

I applied through the website and was contacted to set up a phone interview about a week later.
The phone interview was very odd. They asked virtually no questions about me or my resume. Instead, it was about 20 minutes of listening to what a day of working at IXL is like - after that I assumed everyone was given the chance to do a phone interview. I was asked one or two questions about the website, and then I was asked to work on a problem designing a question related to my content area. The person on the phone was nice enough, and said I would now be sent a work sample.
The work sample questions concerned a particular grade level and required me to design some questions, provide rationales, and give some new innovative ideas. The formatting of the questions was sloppy and looked unfinished. It said that they expected people to spend 3 hours on the assignment.
At the time I thought this job was exactly what I was looking for, so I devoted 10 hours to perfecting my responses, offering design suggestions, and offering a polished, well thought-out product. I even field tested some of my questions with students of the appropriate grade level which I described in detail.
A week and a half later I got a form letter saying they would not be moving forward - it was a generic form letter with no feedback or explanation why they would not be pursuing my application.
If they are collecting this work from everyone it is obviously to get ideas from teachers currently in the classroom and not for real hiring purposes.
Pretty straightforward. The recruiter will call you and ask some pre-screening question then you will be asked to complete a task within a week. The task consists of grammatical correction, alignment and information clarity.
Had a phone screening which went well, followed by a work product. The instructions on the work product were overall very vague, and took a lot of guessing/assuming what they were looking for. It took me about 5 hours total, and I received a rejection email stating that no feedback would be given and with no further explanation.

The interview consisted of a recruiter call. Then a 2nd call. Then a remote meeting via zoom where I was drilled with questions that didn't seem to math the role I applied for. Zero emotions shown. No smiles.
