From my experience at the Sydney office, the interview process has three stages. The first stage is generally HR and a Manager from one of the IQPC Departments who ask you a few "Get to Know You" questions and why you would like to pursue the role. After this stage, you are presented with a research assignment that generally takes 2-3 hours to do. This is an assessment to see your potential in researching for producing a conference. The second stage of the interview process is presenting this assessment to HR. While I was applying to this role, I was promised to hear back from the HR department within 3 days exceptionally, in 1 week. I did not hear from them until 2+ weeks after despite my emails asking for an update. Only after 2+ weeks, HR responded saying that they "filled the position internally" and that "I needed more development" despite one of the managers who interviewed me said he started off in the role as a graduate - this is completely ironic. First, why advertise the role and then mislead interviewees that the role has been filled internally? At least remove your advertisements and/or provide updates to those who were interviewed. Second, it's quite saddening that as a graduate, you want the ability to continually develop professional skills and then as feedback is told: "I need more development". Not fair and quite offensive if I must say. I certainly will never be applying to IQPC after my experience again.
