I had my interview scheduled for the position of "Software Test Engineer" dated 9th October. The interview got cleared and was selected for the same position. I was told to share my salary slip so that the team can decide CTC based on same. I did the same and my final CTC offered to me was 37,800/- in hand after all the deduction as per norms. They were all good with my notice period of 30 days. I was given two days to accept the offer. On Monday dated 12th October I accepted the offer and was told that the offer letter will be released today. Same day I called again and the HR replied me back that my profile is shortlisted and said me to wait for few days. First of all, when I got selected for the position, how come again my profile was said as "Shortlisted". There is a difference between "Selected" and "Shortlisted". Isn't it.??? Still I waited for confirmation . Today, dated 19th October, I again called and they gave me reply that the position is closed. I asked for the reason that when I was selected and again my profile got shortlisted and finally the position got closed because you hired someone else. I asked for the clarification, they just gave stupid reply that they wanted someone who can join immediately. If this is the only reason, why the same was not asked to me? Is this a joke you all are playing around? Why it was not mentioned to me that my profile was "Shortlisted" not "Selected"? Why there was communication gap from the management side? I was so eager to join this company but at last what I got to hear was "Sorry, sorry". Why I was not informed that position is closed? You waited for the candidate to call you and they you replying all these things? Is this policy you all are following? I would have attached the call recordings for the date 9th October when I was told that my selection is done but unfortunately I don't have the same. Is this the recruitment process you follow in the company. Is "Sorry" going to justify the wrong you did? Is this immediate joining going to justify the days you made me wait and if so why the same was not asked from my side? Utterly disappointed.
