They emailed me and we talked a bit over the phone. Once we talked a bit, they invited me in for an interview with in about a weeks time. The initial contact was made by the HR person at the time. She set up the interview and sent the offer letter after I was interviewed by my immediate manager and team lead at the time.

General interview questions, what would you do if...? etc More hypothetical questions and a little bit of my experience. They were interested in my previous experience to see if it was transferable to the position offered basically.
