BEWARE! The following is my personal opinion and experience. I had submitted an application for the community support specialist role. After going through multiple interviews and an assignment, I was rejected. While the interview process itself was engaging and well-structured (conversations were thoughtful, the team was engaging), the lack of follow-up communication after the rejection was disappointing. I had invested SIGNIFICANT time not only interviewing and resolving the assignment, but also through research before and after every round. After the rejection, I reached out asking for feedback but was ghosted.
Even a brief acknowledgment would have demonstrated respect for the time and effort candidates invest. Strong interview experiences should be matched with equally professional post-process communication. I also saw that the post was re-opened but I wouldn't care to re-apply because it feels like such a waste of time and the disrespect towards candidates means this is not a company I would want to work at. Furthermore, asking candidates to resolve assignments, rejecting them, then reposting the role seems malicious. Are you asking us to do free work on your behalf? Please do better IFTTT, this is not how you show care towards the community. Before applying I was an IFTTT user and I cancelled my subscription because of your treatment. I thought I could do good for your community (considering I am part of it) but it is clear you yourself have no idea what you are doing.
