Initial phone screen took about 20 minutes and was pretty straight forward. Asked questions about previous work experience. HR recruiter was very friendly and gave a pleasant experience as first point of contact with IDEXX. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the process after the phone screen. Never got a follow-up email or phone call regarding whether they wanted to move forward with my application. The least they can do is let the applicant know if they are still considered or not. I had to contact the facility that was hiring in order to find out that one of the positions I applied for was already filled. Checking the status of my applications online through IDEXX website was not helpful (just says "in process" when I know one of the jobs was already taken). For someone who really wanted to help veterinary patients as a certified professional, I was disappointed by the lack of communication and effort to keep in contact with applicants who really want to work for this company. In addition, the HR recruiter never picks up their phone, doesn't respond to messages, and doesn't reply to emails. The recruiter also mentioned during the phone screen that I would be contacted the following week, but never was. Needless to say it was not a positive experience and I probably will never consider applying to IDEXX again because of this.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez IDEXX Laboratories en août 2023

I had a phone interview, and I thought it went well. They asked about my past experience, if I knew how to use a microscope and a pipette, why I wanted to work for IDEXX. I actually applied for the company 5-6 years ago but was not offered a position. This time around, despite having five years of lab experience and having worked at Banfield Pet Hospital (who uses IDEXX machines), I was still not offered a position. Not sure what they are looking for, but I don't think I'll be applying again.
