      Entretien pour Client Relationship Manager

      5 mars 2018
      Candidat à l'entretien anonyme
      New York, NY
      Offre refusée
      Expérience négative
      Entretien difficile

      Candidature

Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez IBISWorld (New York, NY)

      Entretien

Unnecessary five interview step process. Starting with two phone screens of one hour each, writing assignments and then in person rounds. They do not pay according to the market especially for a management role and are not willing to pay what the person is worth regardless of whether or not you're already earning above their offer they will not match. They reschedule constantly and drag the interview process to waste nearly one month of your time before an offer is presented. If you have that kind of time to waste and do not mind a low balled offer then this would be appropriate for you.

In terview process took 2+ weeks. Spoke with the recruiter, hiring manager, and one in person interview with 2 CSM’s. Interview process was fine and nothing out of the ordinary in terms of questions. In person interview was highly unprofessional, managers frequently used profanity. Mentioning “it was good that I wasn’t interested in the role for beer money”. For whatever reason I did not receive an offer even though every part of the interview process went picture perfect. Office seemed very “cliquey” and though most were nice, I guess I didn’t fit the mold. The only reason I can see No offer being presented was if they had someone internally they hired for the role. Recruiter strung me along for some odd reason still. Recruiter and hiring managers all went ice cold after deciding not to bring me aboard. Funny thing is, the recruiter suggested this position was a great fit for my overall background and experience.

Interview process was normal. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of questions or process. First interview was 30 minute conversation with the recruiter. Second interview was with the Hiring Manager, Third and final interview was with 2 Client Service Managers. All interviews went excellent. Unfortunately I was not extended an offer which truly leads me to believe that there was never an opening in the first place or internal promotion was given to fill this. I met 100% of the requirements for this role, and even got reassurance from the recruiter that I was perfect for the position and requirements of the role. This was simply them stringing me along the process for absolutely no reason at all. Highly unprofessional in-person interview which involved both CSM's using profanity (which I was okay with) and mentioned that "it was good that I wasn't interested in the role for beer money". To put it simply, I aced every interview, answered and established credibility on all questions asked, and gave them no reason not to bring me in. It's clear that the CSM's were threatened in bringing me on. Also, recruiter and hiring manager have gone completely dark on providing feedback on my candidacy, which I get is not a requirement of theirs but would give some clarity on the decision. Best of luck to those that may be getting the same treatment as I received in this process.
