Applied online. Received an email a few days later requesting a phone interview with HR rep. Scheduled phone interview for following week.
Phone interview lasted about 15 minutes. Typical questions, why are you interested inworking for us, what made you apply for this position, what was you experience at your last job, etc.
Next day recieved reject email.

Question 1
Everything was pretty typical for phone interview.
I didn't get to the point of an interview. As part of the application process, they require applicants to submit a "poem" about their past/present employer... which was no easy feat. Unfortunately, I received the typical algorithim-driven "thanks but no thanks" email within hours of submitting my resume and application. It was a huge turn off to have to go through the process of coming up with a poem--as if the application process wasn't taxing enough--only to receive such a quick rejection. Having to come up with a poem should NOT be part of the initial application process. Felt like they wasted my valuable time.

Received a call about 2 weeks after application. Was invited to an interview, where I would be presenting an overview of a project planning software. I was told upfront that it would be a panel interview and that I would have to take an aptitude test based on techonological savvy.

Question 1
There is only so much that one can learn about a specific project management software brand until it is actually put to use. I felt that some of the questions were too specific, although I recognize that they were specifically asked to see how one may deal with the pressure of not knowing an answer.
