Phone Interview:
A brief discussion with the HR hiring manager led to a more detailed discussion with the head of R&D and Lab testing along with an Engineer III. We discussed the position being interviewed for, Hussmann as a company, and my background and credentials. Within a few days of conducting this interview, I was asked to conduct an interview proper.
Interview:
Consisted largely of a five panel team, including the head of HR, the position supervisor, and other experienced engineers in the testing department, including the two that I spoke with during the phone interview. Each interviewer asked questions to gauge my personality using the problem, action, result structure. We spoke at a length regarding the responsibilities of the position and their expectations of me as an entry level candidate. Following questions and answers from both interviewer and interviewed, I was taken on a brief tour of the testing lab and their manufacturing floor before the interview was concluded.
