1st stage was a 30 min call with Hudl's internal recruiter to go over the role, my background, etc - standard screening interview. Next step was a 30 min call with the Hiring Manager - slightly more technical than the first call and was focussed more on my relevant experience. Next stage was a technical assessment on Alooba comprised of 3 parts: a concepts & knowledge test comprised of 32 multiple choice questions (65 mins to complete), a data analysis test with a couple of csv files to download and analyse and then 10 multiple choice questions to answer (40 mins to complete), an SQL test comprised of 3 questions requiring you to write SQL to query a database (25 mins to complete). You had a week to complete all 3 tests and, whilst you were told that you could complete each part separately, the Alooba platform immediately moved you on to the next section and made it unclear how to save and exit/complete later. All of the above stages moved pretty quickly: I went from 1st interview to being invited to the tests in just over a week. However, after submitting the test a few days before the deadline, I waited 3 weeks for a decision as they were waiting for all candidates to submit their tests. If you decide to apply for a role at Hudl, be prepared for a thorough and long process where you will spend a lot of time and effort on something that may ultimately lead nowhere.
