Hiring Director reached out directly via email after a week or so of applying. Had initial conversation through a video meeting. Explained the details of the role, and what he was looking for in a candidate. Moved me to the next step which involved an assessment. This is typical for a Workforce Management role. Then I was ghosted. No follow up emails after I submitted my assessment. I followed up via email and finally received a response after a week from the same hiring Director that he was behind since he was interviewing for four different positions and that I would hear back shortly. Another two weeks passed by before receiving the auto-generated email that let me know they didn’t move forward with me. I felt the communication could have been better. This whole “ghosting” is very unprofessional.
