The Honeywell process leading up to an interview is notoriously slow, even when a position is targeted (i.e. - they are looking directly at recruiting you). Their internal bureaucracy is extensive which makes it opaque even to the people attempting to hire someone, which can become extremely frustrating, especially if you are trying to weigh a KNOWN offer against a POTENTIAL offer that may come from the Honeywell process.
