Every Expert Practitioner is already a successful senior consultant in their field. The HiveMind interview process seeks to verify the candidate's values and personality. Every candidate completes an introductory discussion with a managing partner, to learn about the network, how it operates, what clients it engages, and how it helps those clients. Then the candidate speaks to at least two current members of the network. The objective of these conversations is to provide independent assessment of the individual's commitment to the values of the network. After getting approval from all interviewers, the candidate receives a Constitution, describing the values that govern the network, and a Memo of Understanding, describing the personal commitment each member makes to the network, and what the network will do for the member.
