      I applied because not every JD's list of requirements needs to be met at 100%. Usually, anything above 80% can be discussed. I applied because of the "We are looking forward to hearing from you if you believe you are a fit for the role – even if you don't tick all the boxes below." - the first requirement was to be a native speaker - this is where I wasn't able to meet the full list of capacities while in other areas, I had some experience. I was anyway invited to work on an assignment. But then, after investing quite some time into creating and sending it, after nearly a few minutes, I was told I cannot go further because of not being a native speaker. I really wish I had been told that before working on the assignment as I really tried to find some time and resources for it. Through my cover letter, it was quite easy to see I am not a native. I don't consider this was productive either for me or HIVE, and I am posting this because even if I am sure HIVE doesn't treat, its interviewees like that in general, I have to share this negative experience which I am sure happened only to me. How would I have done this differently if I was HIVE? Please list what is non-negotiable regarding day-to-day tasks. This would have saved lots of time from both ends. Also, I would at least explain briefly what happened. Mistakes can occur in any recruitment process and I would definitely understand if I would be told it was a mistake.
