I definitely felt strung along in this interview process. I had talked to/ interviewed with 5 people. They kept talking about next steps and I was getting really passionate and excited about the job getting secure then within a day after the last interview they cut me. Felt like a waste of time for something I was getting quite excited about because they took me through a week and a half almost two weeks of interviews. I lost out on other opportunities waiting for them to get through the interview process.

Hi there! We're sorry this was your experience. We don't do multiple rounds with too many candidates, so I have a pretty good idea of who this is - and I can sure you we were definitely very interested, and not just stringing you along! It really was down to the wire, and we thought you had a lot of potential - happy to provide feedback as well, if you'd like to reach out. That said, our goal is to move quickly and respect candidates' time. We do feel that three rounds (with 5 people) of interviews in 1.5 weeks is pretty fast, but are always looking to improve, and will certainly look at this! Best, Derek

I really wish that I had given a lot more credence to the GlassDoor reviews. The interview was purportedly a three step process: interview with the Sales Lead, Head of Sales, then CEO. Along the way, I made (what I felt) were strong and positive connections —I had read the GlassDoor reviews and sort of chalked it up to an exception to the rule and maybe it didn’t actually go as well as they had thought. I was wrong. Throughout the process, there were a lot of signs that it was very mutual, very positive and moving in a fantastic direction. I, too, began to get excited —however, it all fell apart when they added another interview to the mix with a peer. I was assigned a mini-project and was able to schedule the interview with the peer (whom did not have availability for almost three weeks). I received multiple offers during this time from between 8-10 companies but continued to hold out for what I believed was a super mutual fit. I spent morning, noon, and night working on the project to solidify the position and received a message the same day that I was no longer being considered for the position. After receiving glowing, esteemed feedback from the AE. After asking for specific feedback, I received a generic and canned response with zero talk points after wasting around 20 hours of my life on a project. I, then, realized that I was likely never their choice but instead moved to an AE as a placeholder if the CEO didn’t like their first choice or their second or their third. I felt robbed of my time with this interview process and goaded.

      Question 1

Tell me something that you like to do aside from work? Very friendly, personal interview process. The interviews, on their own, were lovely.
