Initial phone screen with a product manager for the team you will be working on
Three additional interviews: two were mostly culture fit, behavioral, and resume questions, final interview with another PM were product-related questions
Overall the process was quick and efficient! There weren't many technical questions, but more of a focus on my problem-solving abilities and approach

Usual first steps with a phone call with a recruiter. Recruiter acted very nicely but basically did not stop blabbing for the entire call. She just sounded like she was just flexing about her revolutionary work of attempting to hire people coming from different racial backgrounds having just given the opportunity to work for Helix recently. It was like interview was more about her and not myself - the candidate. Next, was an interview with the hiring manager. She seemed genuinely interested in having a conversation about my experience. However, the environment where she took the phone call was loud and chaotic that it was very difficult to hear what she was even saying. After that, I was told that I was to hear back by the end of the following week. Which did not happen. So I sent a follow-up email to the recruiter and also heard nothing. It has been months now and it looks like that’s just how manage this part of the process where they decided not to move forward. Moral of the story, it was a complete waste of time and a true showcase of unprofessionalism for both individuals from Helix involved in the process. Both of them were not even able to answer questions about what currently needs to be prioritized in the company as far as improvement or what kind of metrics are used to measure the success of the company’s products. The company seemed to be a total mess right now due to product focus changes during the COVID-19 pandemic and their attempt at rebranding. Not a good sign for anyone wanting to interview for this position or others. Somehow it feels like a bullet dodged.
