Very comfortable and direct about what my duties will entail up-front. Asked relevant questions and asked for more material from my portfolio. I asked questions about their experience in the field, advice and talked about why specifically this internship meant a lot to me.

The process is about 4 interviews, 1 of them is over the phone. One of them is an HR interview where they ask you basic HR interview questions and finally you receive an offer.
I applied via Handshake which was a service provided by my university. I had two phone calls, one with the person who would be my direct boss and then another with her boss. Both were very kind and warm on the phone and just wanted to get to know me as a person. Both calls were around 20 minutes. Several days later got an email offering me the job.
