The recruiter was nice and professional but the hiring manager was the worst. First of all, he was super young and I could tell he hadn’t conducted many interviews before and probably never managed people before. Also, he just seemed really into himself and condescending. He kept going on and on and on about his degrees and his perspective on the industry. Then he asked a few questions that I thought were either rude or just plain stupid. For example: “Do you have any healthcare experience” (My resume showed I clearly didn’t and I explained that to him) And he goes...”Oh ok well not a requirement but just nice to have. I do have experience in this space though” ....cool 😐 Then he asked another rude one, “do you want to work here for a particular reason or is it just cause the industry you’re in is failing right now” People say all the time “I’m glad I didn’t get a job offer there, I really dodged a bullet” when they miss out on a job, but in this case it’s true. I could barely spend 30 minutes with this guy let along work with him every day. Pass.
