Initial phone interview with hr generalist to determine if I was the right candidate to move on to the next phase of the interview process. Asked general questions: prior experience, familiarity with position applying for, availability, salary expectations, etc. At the conclusion, the interviewer said they will recommend me for next steps. Two weeks passed and finally heard back that I would have a 2nd interview.
I was contacted 30-minutes prior on the day of my second interview that they changed the position requirements and now need someone with oncology experience.
Not a good way to attract and retain talent, especially in this area where word-of-mouth travels quickly. I was warned by former employees this is not a good place to work; this interview process proves the point.
