Hired internally and this job offer came from a previous manager who saw an opportunity and offered the position after our group had lost three Project Coordinators. The manager came to me and asked if I wanted the job and we discussed roles and responsibilities including current roles. Once the roles and responsibilities were agreed upon then the salary adjustment was discussed and agreed upon.
