I participated in two interviews (one with hiring manager and the second with HR). I was informed of the third stage, and HR gave me information; they will follow up. Unfortunately, I've never heard from them, and even after sending a very polite follow-up email, I didn't get even a brief response—"yes/no/on hold"—from them. I only got an automated response after a month of waiting, saying that my application was not being taken into consideration. In all honesty, this lack of respect reflects poorly on the company's culture. There may be a thousand explanations, such as stronger candidates, the job being on hold, or whatever, but if you had two interviews for a position where you have a lot of experience, you may have expected some consideration and at the very least, brief feedback. It has never happened to me before, and in the end, I believe this raises serious questions about the workplace culture.
