Entretien
After applying online, I was sent a short grammar assessment, which involved identifying errors in sentences and proposing corrections as needed. I then had a relatively brief phone screen/interview with an HR person. The questions were pretty standard and focused mostly on my educational and professional background. I was also asked several questions that were more job-specific, focusing on my experience with different types of writing and approach to editing. After the phone interview, I was sent a longer writing assessment that closely resembled the work that writers at the company typically do. As long as you are able to write reasonably well and follow the assessment instructions very closely, this should be pretty straightforward. After submitting the assessment, I received feedback from an editor at the company. I made a number of edits to my original writing assessment, resubmitted the assessment, and received an offer a few days later.

Entretien
there was a phone interview which was fairly standard. They asked about your experience and your writing style. They also asked a question or two about you personally such as why do you write or what was something you did during quarantine.
I was asked to do a writing test, but the instructions that they sent were extremely convoluted and it looked to be a time-consuming task. I tried to ask for some clarifications and was met with poor responses. I was hoping to speak to a human and ask some basic questions before signing my evening away to a test. Employers should always remember we are interviewing them too.

This was a pretty by the book interview. It was quick, over the phone and consisted of regular questions. The total interview lasted about 15 minutes. There were multiple questions of how you stay focused, keep a good work life balance and stay motivated.
