The interview experience was disappointing.
The interviewer joined about 10 minutes late and did not acknowledge the delay or provide an introduction to himself, the team or the role. After my self-introduction, he went straight into questions, so the conversation felt quite one-sided.
I asked several questions to better understand the role, including how the responsibilities are split across the role but never received a direct answer. The discussion repeatedly shifted back to distributor challenges, making it difficult to understand what the day-to-day responsibilities actually look like given the broad scope described in the JD.
The interviewer also tended to interrupt or redirect questions before allowing a full discussion, making it difficult to elaborate on previous experience or understand how success in the role is measured. I left the interview with more questions than answers.
