      Entretien

      Friendly, relaxed and most importantly purposeful. The interviewers were really easy to talk to which helped with any nerves. In addition to this, I was interviewed by those in the role so was great to understand more about the role

      Entretien

      I initially applied online then forgot about it and was quite surprised when I heard back a few weeks later that I was shortlisted for the 1st round. The 1st round consisted of a modernhire (?) video which seemed a little awkward, but a benefit was being able to re-record unlimited takes and review our answers. After making it through the 1st round, I was invited to attend an assessment day at the HQ which lasted approx 3hrs. There was around 20 or so candidates & we were split into random groups. Our group had to take part in a team building exercise (which could only be described as Jenga meets makeshift construction crane?) - I felt that this part of the assessment day seemed unnecessary as it could possibly discriminate against talented potential employees who may be more introverted or disabled. A lot of these “team” tasks turn into chest beating contests to be seen as the leader etc… Next part was being taken into a small office to complete a type test (WPM) and to answer example customer queries. Personally I felt that this part could’ve been done at home during the 1st initial video interview stage. The final part was an interview with one of the CS team leaders answering the standard fare of questions, however when prompted at the end if I had any questions I found that they were evasive in terms of answering important ones such as: start date, leadership style, business outlook PAY & number of new starters they’re looking to hire. It was a very drawn out process for a somewhat straightforward job (they informed us we’ll hear within a week but it went way over that). I will say the HR and people team are very lovely and been extremely helpful throughout.
