      Entretien pour Network Engineer

J'ai passé un entretien chez Gruve Tech (Edison, NJ) en mai 2026

      Entretien

I went through an exhaustive, 4-round interview process that dragged on for nearly 8 weeks for a Network Engineer position. I spoke with senior engineers, a recruiter, and ultimately went through a final round with the SVP of Solution Delivery. After completing this entire gauntlet, I was explicitly told by the recruiting team that I was accepted for the position and that a formal offer letter would be sent over the next day. Instead of receiving the promised offer, I had to follow up days later myself, only to receive a generic, cold rejection email stating the position was suddenly "on hold due to organizational changes." Leading a candidate through two months of intensive interviews, telling them they got the job, promising an offer, and then pulling the rug out at the absolute last second is a disgraceful way to operate. It shows zero internal alignment and a total disregard for a professional’s time, effort, and livelihood. If this is how they handle hiring, I can only imagine how chaotic it is to work there. Highly unprofessional.

Thank you for sharing your experience. What you went through over the course of that process, the time, the effort, and the uncertainty at the end, is not something we take lightly, and we are sorry it ended the way it did. We recognize that communication and alignment during the final stages of hiring fell short of what any candidate deserves. That is not acceptable, and it is something we are actively working to address as we build more consistent and accountable hiring practices. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. It is exactly the kind of input that helps us improve, and we wish you well in your search.
