Greenhouse is a unicorn when it comes to the interview process. I can't think of any time that I had such an enjoyable experience while job searching, which as we all know is never a fun process. I applied online and within 2 days I heard back from one of their in-house recruiters. We spoke for around 30 minutes about everything from scope of work for the position to the company culture. After the phone screen I was invited onsite where I met with 6 different Greenhouse employees from different departments. The prospect of meeting with so many different people in one day seems daunting, turns out it was anything but. I arrived at the Greenhouse office (which is awesome) and was escorted into a conference room which was well appointed with not only a couch, and computer, but mints and snacks and a carafe of water (such a classy touch). I spent the next 2 and a half hours meeting with some incredible people who made me feel so comfortable. I was asked deliberate questions that delved into my background, personality and coachability. These questions not only were used to ensure that I have the necessary skills to perform the job but that I would be a culture fit. Two days later I received a job offer and it didn't take me long to accept it.
