Hi there. Thanks for your feedback and first of all, sorry to hear you had a poor experience interviewing here. As you (correctly) point out, we take interviewing very seriously at Greenhouse and try very hard to treat everyone respectfully, courteously, fairly, and honestly. It sounds like there were a number of breakdowns of this expectation in your case. For one, being told you passed the interview when clearly there had not been a decision to move ahead with you, was an unfair and inappropriate way to handle the situation. Then as you stated, the failure to respond to your inquiries further exacerbated things. I'm not surprised at all that this behavior concerned and frustrated you.
We definitely can't always live up to our own high expectations and it sounds like in this case we failed to do so. I have reviewed your comments with the recruiting team and we all understand what we need to do better in the future.
Once again, sorry for the stress and consternation this experience has caused you, and thanks for making the effort to let us know about it. It's how we learn & improve.
