I had an initial phone screen, followed by a short writing sample, and then another longer phone interview. I really enjoyed both conversations—it was obvious that the interviewers had prepared well and asked thoughtful questions. Not only were they trying to get a sense of my skills, but I could tell that they were invested in understanding me as a person (what I'm passionate about, how I work, what I do in my free time, etc.). Even though I was not offered the position, it was an enjoyable interview process and really reflected Greenhouse's mission of prioritizing people.
