Over 3.5 months had 5 interviews. The first 3 were on the phone and last two in person...where they realized I was 28 and commented on areas that could be identified simply looking at my resume I.e you have management experience which is concerning as this role doesn’t manage anyone (never thought that could be used against me). Last interview was with the managing partner who was insanely unprofessional because she GRILLED me for working at my current job.. turns out she doesn’t like employees who serve the public. The reason they gave me for choosing the other candidate was they were more senior and more experienced which solidified my theory of them treating me the way they did during the in person interviews. Age discrimination at its finest. I would never want to work for that type of management anyway, people first culture is clearly BS.
