HR was well-aligned with the job description and pre-screening process was informative and went smoothly. The onsite interview was extremely disjointed and the interviewer barely introduced themselves, didn't seem to be aligned with the posted job description, was mildly condescending and was in general all over the place. Difficulty in this interview was more a matter of soft-skills and relating to the interviewer than it was technically challenging. It didn't help that the interviewer was seemingly not well-versed in the discipline for which they were screening candidates. My impression of Gosiger Dayton was high until the moment I sat down with this interviewer; the company presents itself well but clearly there's a gap in their hiring process and with at least one of the decision-makers / people leaders. It was 100% obvious that the hiring manager did no pre-screen / resume review.
