I was thrilled to come across this role, having nearly a decade in digital marketing and applicable healthcare innovation experience. However, the interview process was a turnoff. Unenthused and distracted recruitment / hiring team. Plus, the job description was off. The JD was more junior, in scope, than originally expected (as compared to the written narrative). I found the experience disappointing.

The questions were related to the tactics of the role vs. big thinking / strategy - this was surprising given the JD. It seemed like a short-sighted, uninformed interview approach for a fast-growth startup.

The recruiter was very responsive and great to communicate with, but unfortunately the hiring manager wasn't the same. First off he/she was very late to the call and once the call began the person seemed very lost in how to conduct an interview. The questions and conversation were very one-sided and didn't seem to scope out the position very well, nor what was expected of the person who would be in this position. Passed on this place because if the leaders can't convey what is expected in a person's role then how can anyone be set up for success?
