The most efficient and smooth Interview process: -initial call with recruiter -video call with hiring manager - 30 mins video calls with 3 team members - video call with CMO - one week to prepare case prompt - case presentation to panel This is a typical process for any PMM interview but what was different about Gong was: 1) all of my interviews were well coordinated and the entire process was of less than 3 weeks. There was not once during this process where I felt ghosted by the recruiter. Big shoutout to Ogay for organizing all interviews so seamlessly and for helping through every step. 2) all the team members that I interviewed with along with the CMO were the most humble and warm people. They made sure the interview was not an interrogation but more like a conversation. They took their time to understand my experiences and shared their own in detail too. This reflects well for not just the team at Gong but also the culture that they support which should ideally be a deciding factor for any company you choose to work with. I’d advise read up about the company and competitors as much as you can before each interview but most importantly bring your true authentic self to the table.
