J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gong (San Francisco, CA) en août 2019

Originally got referred for an Enterprise AE role, but after initial phone screen with Eric (who is awesome btw) he was very clear that my background lent to Mid-Market more likely. From there we had one more phone screen, then a Zoom meeting with Ron, who leads the Mid-Market team. After that, Ron and I met for coffee which I appreciated as a more casual " get to know you" meeting and why I was interested in Gong. Final interview was a panel and presentation with sales leaders, plus I got to meet with some of the current mid-market AEs which I also liked.

The job interviewer felt like they were just reading off a checklist and really didn't get me excited for the role when I was really excited to interview there. I hope they can try to be more personal on the first interview.

I was approached by a recruiter and spoke with her for 30-minutes. After that I would meet with the team lead, VP with a mock call. It was a standard process overall.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gong (San Francisco, CA) en juill. 2024

The Interview processes was straight forward and smooth. The recruiter I worked with was professional, responsive, and on top of each step of the process so I knew exactly where I stood and what to expect next. The process went something like recruiter screen, interview with the hiring manager, mock call with director of sales and hiring manager, and the final interview was with VP of Sales. The interviews were a healthy mix of casual getting to know you questions and behavioral questions focused on your work experience. The behavioral type of questions were more natural and conversation-like than some of the scripted "tell me about a time" questions I heard from other companies in my job search.
