3 rounds of interview with HR, hiring manager and VP. Both case study and behavioral questions. Overall smooth process over the span of 2 weeks. Everyone was very friendly during the interviews.

The job interview process was really challenging for me. When I first saw the job posting, I was so excited because it seemed like an ideal fit given my background and skills. However, once I attended the initial screening interview, it became clear that I did not meet some of the key criteria they were looking for in a candidate. The interviewer asked very in-depth technical questions that highlighted gaps in my practical knowledge compared to what the role required. I realized that my qualifications on paper were not an accurate reflection of the proficiency needed for this job. It was discouraging to have my shortcomings exposed so plainly. After the interview, I was informed that I would not be moving forward based on not being a strong match for the role. While disappointing, it was important feedback about areas where I need to develop and improve. Reflecting on the experience, I know I need to spend time strengthening my technical expertise through hands-on training, certifications and practicing core skills needed for roles in this field. The interview process also showed me how competitive and demanding the job market can be. Even with preparation, you are not guaranteed to get the job. While this was a setback, I am determined to learn from it and come back stronger in my next opportunity. With some dedication and hard work on my skills, I hope to become a top candidate.
