I had 3 interviews for a role for which I am deeply qualified. First round was with the recruiter. Next the hiring manager and a prospective peer in the role. The hiring manager said she would recommend me for the next round - crickets. Efforts to elicit feedback went unanswered. The recruiter and the person in the role seemed warm and genuine while the hiring manager seemed aloof, inauthentic. That and a broken commitment to queue up the next interview left me with a negative impression.
