      The HR will do the first round phone interview and mainly try to get your salary expectations. The hiring manager will do the second round interview and ask very general questions. It feels like they already decided if they want to hire you before the interview.

We encourage our hiring team, who are all subject matter experts, to approach all interviews with an open mind. Our interviewers are often from different teams as we like to consider a candidates strengths to get an idea of which team they would best fit on. We hope and trust that you have found an organization that you gel with.

      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Global Relay (Vancouver, BC)

      I applied online and almost a week later received a call from HR asking my availability for a call interview. It was simply, sweet and quick call. Subsequent communication and confirmation was via email. The interview call was ok and it was with two interviewers . The second interviewer joined 10 minutes late. The interviewers did not introduce themselves properly. They mentioned their names only; did not mention their title, role and what they do. And they did not introduce the company and what it does and no details about the opportunity. I did not feel excitement (as if the interviewer are bored or not excited with they do) but was standard and professional. The call took less than 30 minutes so it was pretty short in my view. I was given the chance to ask questions and it is then when I got the sense there is no perfect match . They are looking for SW development experience, BA experience and program/project management experience which is not clear from the job description/requirement. However, I had to follow-up a week later in order to get a response that they have decided in favour of other candidates whose experience and qualifications are more of a direct match with our immediate requirements.
