I was very impressed with GitLab's interview process. I believe the whole process took about three or four weeks. I was in contact with a recruiter who set the interviews for multiple managers. The interviews happened over a zoom video call. I can't say enough nice things about this company and the people. Everyone was very transparent, which is one of GitLab's values, kind, and answered all of the questions I had. Every interview felt like a conversation and we just filled in the gaps with necessary business questions to see if I would be a good fit for GitLab, and if they would be a good fit for me. After the initial interviews, I was given a writing test and a mock role play happened with two people over a zoom video call. I was given a few days to prepare, which was great. After my role play, I was contacted a few days later and given an offer. Overall, great interview pacing, responsive and kind team, and excited to see GitLab's growth over the next few years!
