First a phone call with an HR person. Standard 20-30 minute ordeal. Next was a phone interview with 2 people in the IT department who both worked at different locations than where I was interviewing for. That seemed to go well. Third and lastly was an in-person interview on site with 2 more IT people. 1 of which I think would have been my manager, but I'm not entirely sure. The recruiter I worked with was not even clear on the org chart. In hindsight the whole structure of things was very incoherent. Also, as I waited to hear back after what I was told was my final interview, the recruiter told me they had found someone on their own that they were going to interview. I was absolutely livid. You'd think the company would have the decency to stick with the recruiter route after they were unable to find someone on their own. I wasted time PTO time for their interview process only to have them bring in someone direct. Then I couldn't even get a follow-up from the company or the recruiter. It is just bush-league all around. However, I probably wouldn't have taken the job anyway, because after doing some digging on LinkedIn I realized that basically the entire IT staff locally had turned over in the past 10-12 months. The recruiter never did answer me about that, and I never got a chance to ask the company. Long story short, I'd be very wary of this place.
