      Entretien

I applied here two weeks ago got a call from recruiter for an interview she went over some questions as far as my work history and she kept saying I am an ideal candidate and my resume is impressive. The job did not have a salary range posted nor did the recruiter state what the salary range was or even ask what I was looking for. But there was a section on the application asking and I put my salary expectations. The following day I had an interview with the enrollment director. It went very well. She followed up via email saying how interested she is in me my resume is impressive I have many years of experience, etc. The following day after my interview, she emailed me again in the morning saying how she would like to have a follow up discussion on Monday. I agreed to another discussion. I know the interview went well so I was thinking this call would be what the next steps are. I get on the call Monday. There is another representative apparently an employee who has been in the enrollment department for 3 1/2 years on the call along with the director. She was basically telling me that she just had a few follow up questions and asked if I had any additional questions about the role. She said that she will be in touch very soon prior to us getting off the call. A few hours later before the end of the day, I got a call from the recruiter. I initially spoke with, and she was like the director really wanted to move forward with you. However, your salary expectations are way above the range for the role…. I was like OK what was the range for the role? She said they were trying to start around $24 an hour but stated even $30-$31 is well above what they are looking to pay so they will move forward with another candidate who will take less. I made it know during the interview what my salary expectation was with the director when she asked me, and she never indicated that was out of the range for the role. Instead, she misled and dragged me through another interview without even saying that it was technically a second interview meanwhile, I have a whole full-time job already… taking time out my schedule while they are playing games! And I’m making above that $30 an hour mark.
