Director of Nursing called me to schedule an interview after receiving my resume through a job I applied for on Indeed.com. The job was a full-time 7a-3:30pm position with a sign-on bonus. I showed up to the interview only to be told that there was no full-time day shift availability, but I could work FT 11p-7a if I wanted, or take PT or Per Diem. I pulled out the printed out job description and requisition number for the full-time day-shift position that I had printed 2 hours before hand, and she said she didn't know why it was posted like that, since it had been filled internally. This made no sense. Internally filled, but there was a sign-on bonus?! I'm thinking it was bait ad to get RNs in the door and offer them a crappier position. Total waste of my time.
The interview process was very simple and direct. Expectations and roles are clearly described. The interviewer allowed time for questions and assisted with answers that they were not completely sure on.

There was basically no interview. Walked in as a new grad with 0 experience and was immediately offered a position. They are obviously understaffed with agency nurses on every unit. Not safe to work here.
Everyone was friendly and professional. I received a tour of the facility and a printed version of the job description. The staff were relaxed and informative. Quick to respond to questions via email and phone.
