J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gartner (New York, NY) en févr. 2024
Entretien
Applied through an employee referral. Interviewer was very impersonal and impolite. Could not get a word in, and she seemed to dislike me off the bat despite my attempts to establish commonality. She had no desire to learn more about my experience or why I would be a fit for the role. Generic rejection email sent shortly after our meeting. I know for a fact from internal parties that >35% of reps achieve quota, and it's a difficult product to sell during this economic climate. No way to rate entire interview process, as I was rejected within the first 5 min IMO.

Question 1
How did you identify target prospects in previous roles?
They have reached out to me for a job every year and I have interviewed with them 2 times and have never made it past the 1st interview. Confused why a recruiter reaches out to me anymore?

It was long and rigorous, often feeling extremely high pressure, with not a lot of constructive criticism. There are 5 rounds and each with a role-play. It's safe to say this is not an easy interview process. I'm not sure how they do their prospecting, but I was apparently a 'great fit' for the role - didn't show that enthusiasm during our calls.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
