J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gartner en mai 2022
Entretien
There were six interviews in all. The recruiter told me there would only be three, so that was disappointing. Although the interviews all went well, I was not made an offer, and I felt like my time had been wasted.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gartner (Stamford, CT) en juin 2022
Entretien
I applied on the web site on Day Zero.
I didn't hear anything for about six weeks.
On Days 42 to 43, I coordinated by phone and email with a Gartner headhunter. I passed the first informal interview and was asked to submit (basically) a sample based on a problem they gave me to solve. Instructions were minimal. I had the feeling they wanted to see if I could read their minds.
I submitted that "assessment" on Day 45.
For the next two weeks, I heard nothing.
I emailed the headhunter once each week, not requesting or demanding anything, just asking to be contacted IF there was news.
My last email asked if I was still under consideration.
Exactly 60 days after I applied and two weeks after submitting an assessment, the headhunter finally emailed to say that they had hired an internal candidate.

Basically asking you how you fit the job description.

I applied and received an e-mail to schedule an "exploratory phone call" about three months later. I was told that I would be speaking with a recruiter about my experience and whether or not I would be a good fit for the role available.
When I was called, the woman on the phone was relatively hard to understand. She had a very thick accent of some sort and seemed to be in a very noisy area. She asked me about me experience and then cut me off mid-sentence to tell me, "That was enough."
After asking me about my strengths, she informed me that the position I applied for was no longer available and that they had nothing that matched my resume. It was a very frustrating experience and, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional.
