J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) en mai 2015
Entretien
The hiring process was 4 weeks long of phone interviews and was somewhat repetitive until the last panel interview in which I drove to the Fort Myers office. The first 3 interviews were with consecutively higher level recruiters. Each of these recruiters emphasizes concise answers, persistence, enthusiasm for the job, understanding the company/position, and answering behavioral questions in a STAR format using facts and metrics. Questions should be answered in a clear, but short manner. Definitely know the relationship between the SMB position and clients.
Every recruiter or hire manager I spoke with was very down to earth and easy going. Just be the best version of yourself and be sure to take notes on feedback and who you spoke with. Personally, I looked up backgrounds on LinkedIn to use in understanding a recruiters title or experiences.
The last interview was a shadow interview, whiteboard session, and panel role play. You will get a chance to ask a person in your position questions about the company and preparing for the white board session, which is about relaying learned information about Gartner.

Question 1
Talk about a time when you use metrics to gauge productivity?
Lengthy interview process yet, regardless of your level of interest, is great practice experience. Probably a 5-6 step interview process over maybe 2-4 weeks:
Brief chat with recruiter
follow-up call with recruiter for short "role-play" with goal to schedule 'next meeting' which is super generalized (basic sales intro role-play)
an optional connect with recently hired employee (not required, simply something the recruiter offered)
a video group panel interview (I can't remember if this is before or after other steps)
video interview with only aligned VP (there are a lot of Sales VPs at the org, don't let the acronym freak you out)
a "role-play interview" where you pitch the product (general understanding of Gartner that can be gained through simple research/due diligence).
- If I remember correctly, the offer to "join the team" is given at the end of this call. In my experience, if you provide a verbal "yes, I'm interested in joining" then you are locked into whatever compensation the recruiter and you initially discussed despite thinking the negotiation part was still an option.
In the interview process, they ask a lot about "your why." What motivates you, why you're driven, etc. This was an incredible influential aspect of the interview process and what they prioritize, so make sure you're prepared.
The recruiter was helpful in preparing for each step. She would join to observe steps of the interview and provide constructive feedback.
Marking as "difficult" only because I wasn't fully accustomed to the length of the process. It does require due diligence which may be an area of opportunity for some.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gartner (Egham, England) en juill. 2018
Entretien
I had 4 interviews, 3 by phone and the last one, the panel interview at the egham's office.
As an advice I can say that you should trust yourself, be natural if sales is what you love and go for it.
The last interview is the one that really made realise that Gartner was THE company I wanted to work for.
It was a very enjoyable experience, where I learned a lot about myself and all the people I talked to were very professional and helpful.

Entretien
The interview process started with an informal call with a talent sources. Next a call with a recruiter, focusing on Gartner's 4 Traits and a 10min. role play (discovery call). The 3rd step was a video call with the recruiting director, roughly same structure and questions as previous steps, including the role play. Last round was a panel interview at the Gartner offices, with two hiring managers and my recruiter.
