A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. We set up a call which went very well (he told me it did, not my automatic assumption). I was forwarded to a recruiter who seemed less enthusiastic about my experience but said the conversation went well. She said I’d hear back in a few days once a hiring manager looked at my info. She never bothered following up and I instead received an email saying I was being passed over. I reached out for feedback but she hasn’t bothered to respond. As a recruiter myself, I can’t tell you how unbelievably unprofessional and frustrating this is. I was excited to potentially represent this company, but this left a bad taste in my mouth.
