Phone Screen with Recruiter, On site interview with hiring manager and two peers. Ultimately when they offered me the job it was at the low end of the range the recruiter originally communicated, and stated the P&L could not allow them to go any higher. I would not have even continued the conversation originally had they said this to start with. Definitely feel like I wasted my time interviewing with them and when they say the range is $65-$75k base, it's just $65k and there's no budging. I sent recruiter follow up email saying I would not take the offer and never even received a response or acknowledgement. In recruiting a simple response goes a long way for maintaining someone's respect for your company regardless if they are going to work with you or not. Such a lame process, what a waste of my time and frankly theirs.
