J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Gap (California City, CA) en oct. 2012

As most, I applied online. I wasn't expecting a call but a couple of days later I was given an interview date. I was freaking out, as this was my first interview and did my research on the company and searched all of the possible questions I could be asked. By the way everyone made it seem, I was bound to be asked a lot of questions and probably end up picking an outfit at the sales floor but I wasn't. Two other candidates and I sat outside the store with the interviewer who asked us the basics; Why do you want to work here? Tell me about your last job? and one scenario question. That was totally it. She told us they'd make a decision in two days, and that they'd only call one of us. I didn't expect to be called but I was! I now have the orientation to go to and i'm ready to go! My advice is that when they ask you why you want to work there, you say because you believe what the company stands for which is "providing the optimal shopping experience." Gap is all about providing great costumer service, so keep that in mind! Ask questions and keep positive! :)

Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes

It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
